How quickly things change...

The twins have really changed during the blog break!  You might not even recognize them!

Haha!

The boys' birthday chairs have become a favorite lounging spot of Miles (aka Elliott) and Cleo (aka Isaac).  It tickles the real Elliott and Isaac to see the cats in their chairs!

Gramma Visits!

It is a special time in the Jewell household when Gramma visits!  The boys enjoy spending time with her and showing her all of the new things they have learned since her last visit!  This time, Gramma watched them crawl, walk, and have lots of play time!  The boys loved the quality time with her!

Elliott and Isaac are already looking forward to their next visit with Gramma!  

Thanksgiving

Elliott and Isaac hosted their first Thanksgiving in 2011!  It was a family event and marked the first day of a special visit with Gramma.  We celebrated with Uncle Ted, Aunt Leigh, Bryce, and Tessa, too.  While the yummy food cooked, the boys played.  Tessa couldn't wait for the tryptophan to kick in--she had to take a nap before the big meal!

But, we missed Zachary and Patrick (and Aunt Anne and Uncle Mike, too)!

After some quality time, we gave thanks and enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal together.  Isaac and Elliott loved the Thanksgiving food!  They were the first to begin eating and the last ones to finish!  It was the most we have ever seen them eat!

After an extended blog break, The Family Jewells are back!

I can attribute the break to several reasons... the busy holiday season, travel, a variety of winter illnesses for various family members, and I'll be honest....a teensy bit of laziness on my part.  Because it has been so long, a lot has happened.  I don't want to leave out any of the excitement, so I'm going to do my best to pick up where the blog left off.  We will begin with Thanksgiving and hopefully, catch up to this beautiful April weather soon.  Thanks for your patience and for continuing to check on the Jewell Twins!
