Wobbler Room, here we come!

Today, Elliott and Isaac officially transitioned to the "Wobbler" room at daycare.  They are no longer considered infants by Creation Kingdom and as much as I hate to admit it, our boys are getting big!  They look like mini-Bobs in their jeans and polo shirts!
Our Wobblers!

I thought the picture below was a sweet moment.  Though it appears they are sharing brotherly love, they were actually turning around to grab Miles.  Isaac just happened to be using Elliott for a boost and as a still shot, it looks like a hug.  I'll take it!

Future Extreme Couponers?

I hope to post about our beach trip soon...once I filter through the 700+ pictures we took!

Long weekend = Lots of pictures

We enjoyed quality family time over Labor Day weekend.  Other than running a few errands to prepare for vacation, we mostly played and Elliott and Isaac explored the house as they continue to become more mobile.

The music table debuted over the weekend and the boys love it!

Isaac received his first drumming lesson

We are definitely in trouble now! Installing another baby gate has been added to Bob's to-do list!

Bob's solution to distract the boys from Otto's water bowl...allowing them to play in a tupperware container full of water.  I think Bob was more entertained than Elliott and Isaac!

Sleeping boys...I just cannot get enough of the cuteness!

Sunday morning chores

On Sunday, we went shopping for Elliott and Isaac's first pair of shoes!  Since they are pulling up and becoming more interested in figuring out how their legs work, we thought shoes would be a good idea.  We went to Howard Curry, the home of the "Talking Tree".  Both boys were great!  The salesmen said they were some of the best babies they had ever fitted--neither cried!  Elliott did try to make us purchase the ugly white shoes by vomiting on them but fortunately the salesman said it had happened before.  He may have just been trying to make us feel better, but we are okay with a little white lie since he did not make us purchase the shoes!  Despite the picture below, they are both now the proud owners of a pair of nice brown "first walkers".  Mom and Dad were not prepared and did not bring socks, so they had to share the smallest sample pair at Howard Curry.  Thus the reason there is only one shoe on each boy in the picture.  We ended our visit by chatting with the Talking Tree.  Isaac talked back and Elliott tried to touch it.  It was a fun, special experience!

They really were happy even though they do not seem to be in the picture. They were quite distracted by the other shoppers.

After a day of shopping for vacation, the boys tested our travel bathtub to see if it is suitable for the trip.  It was a success!

Elliott thought sitting on the bedtime story was just as much fun as listening to it!

On Monday, Elliott and Isaac tried on the outfits Bob brought them from China.  Super cute!!

Last Wednesday

I am several days behind but wanted to post some pictures from last Wednesday.  My girls' dinner club met at our house.  It was a baby bonanza!  Elliott and Isaac's friends Hadleigh and Isaac came to visit.  The babies had fun crawling all around and playing in the playroom.  Thankfully, there was a wonderful dad on hand so the moms could eat a few bites.

After dinner, we attempted the first bath with both Elliott and Isaac in the big bathtub.  Boy, was it as slip and slide!  We caught a few smiles, but they did not last long as the boys slide into each other.  For now, we will stick to the baby bathtub.

After bath time, Bob read the boys a bedtime story.  Notice Isaac...one can never have too many pacifiers!
