Our Evening Routine

A few posts ago, I described our "night night" routine.  So, I thought I would dedicate a post to our evening routine.  These photos were all taken on August 1st.  I hosted my weekly dinner club that evening.  The boys were fairly well behaved for dining and girl talk!  Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures during supper.  Towards the end, Elliott and Isaac discovered that stuffing makes excellent confetti.  What a great discovery for my clean floor!  Thankfully, Elliott volunteered helped clean up the mess with his broom!  I believe Isaac pretended to continue eating (at this point he had been in the high chair for over an hour), so he wouldn't have to help!

After cleaning up from supper, Isaac and Elliott always brush their teeth.  Sometimes they brush them sitting in chairs...

Sometimes they brush their teeth after rolling on the floor...

And, sometimes they brush their teeth while tackling each other!

Notice Elliott's furrowed brow...we have named this look "angry face".  He gives the look very seriously, then bursts into laughter!

They really do love each other!  Surprisingly, this was a real hug, not a wrestling move! 

After brushing their teeth, Elliott and Isaac go upstairs to take a bath.

They have started helping one another bathe...

As one can imagine, this splash to the face tactic for bathing is not always well received!

Bath time remains a favorite time for Isaac and Elliott!  They love to splash, swim, and are now blowing bubbles in the water with their mouths!

So, this is it...our typical evening routine.  

We do everything that is expected in an evening routine, but with a Jewell Twin twist!
