Fall Festival

We have returned from our fabulous beach vacation in Hilton Head and have gotten back into the swing of our daily activities once again.  Normally I do not like to skip life events, especially ones as awesome as beach vacations, but since someone took just over 2500 photos during the trip, I have a ton of deleting to do!  Super cute boys and large-storage memory cards make it all too easy to snap until my heart is content!  So, a beach vacation post will happen....just not in a timely fashion!

Until then, we have jumped right into fall.  We left shorts, bathing suits, 80-degree weather and returned to jeans, jackets, and pumpkins!  I love this time of year and all of the activities that occur.  Creation Kingdom held their Fall Festival on September 27th.  I was able to attend with Isaac and Elliott to watch them paint pumpkins and pine cones and play fall-themed games.  It is so much fun to watch how much they enjoy being at daycare.  They love their teachers and are interacting more all the time with their friends!

Painting with Ms. Brionna, Shane, Braxton, and Ms. Katie

Ms. Katie was very successful in keeping the paint brushes on the table!

Finishing touches

One of the games for the festival was "Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin".  After actually trying it with the kiddos, it was determined it was more difficult than expected because they all tried to put the nose on the eyes.  Hey, they were all triangles so at least they know their shapes!

To end the festival, I was able to snap a few photos of the boys with some of their teachers.  We almost have a photo of them with every teacher they have had at Creation Kingdom.  I think it will be important for them to see the wonderful ladies that had such an impact on them, even at this young age!

Ms. Brionna, one of their Orange Room teachers, or "Nonna" as the boys say.
Ms. Paige was making them laugh.

Ms. Kristie, one of their Red Room teachers.  She's known as "Cece".

Ms. Katie, their other Orange Room teacher.  She is "Ka-ee" (like Katie, except said without the "t").
