December...wow, what a blur! We were very busy...traveling, visiting, and celebrating the Christmas season!
The first weekend, December 3rd and 4th, we traveled to Lebanon for the weekend and to watch Meme participate in the Lebanon Baptist Church Christmas cantata. The weather was unusually warm, so we enjoyed the outdoors, too.

My boys... this is my favorite picture, ever! Well, at least so far! |
The stairs were discovered... |
And so was the dog crate! |
The second weekend in December, the 10th and 11th, we traveled to Mayfield to see The Purchase Players production of Annie. Cousin Cassydi starred as Annie and was amazing!! Elliott and Isaac also had the pleasure of meeting Aunt Wanda and Uncle Joe for the first time and getting hugs from cousin Amy again!! It was a wonderful weekend with family!

Cassydi, Isaac, and Elliott... three beauties! |

Linner (Lunch/Dinner) at The Majestic, a Mayfield must-eat |
Joined by Lily St. Regis! Amy was hilarious! She also was amazing and we loved her character--so much personality! |
The whole family! Love each and everyone and so glad we were able to spend the special time with them! |
The boys also turned 14 months old ... and the bumps and bruises begin! Because of the travels, we were a few days late. These were taken on December 12th.
We had a special visitor ... one of our favorite house guests, Lynn! The last time Lynn spent the night the boys were still cooking in mommy's belly! Though they may not look like it by their morning picture expressions, the boys loved playing with her!
This may be a silly blog addition, but in December, the boys began taking their tooth brushing very seriously. They really enjoy "brushing" their teeth! Since I know this desire likely won't continue into childhood, I wanted photographic evidence!
Before moving on to the holiday festivities, here are a couple of videos from December.
Silly, giggly boys in their high chairs...
The boys started giving each other night-night kisses before bed. I love this bedtime routine!
I think it is so sweet (even though it may embarrass them later in life!)...
Holiday festivities blog soon to come!
