On Sunday, July 1st, we prepared to travel to Louisville to spend the day with family. Before leaving, Bob caught this cute video of the boys watching "The Wheels on the Bus" on one of their favorite videos!
Aunt Anne, Uncle Mike, Zachary, and Patrick were visiting from Virginia, so everyone met at Poppy's house for the day! The cousins had a blast playing with each other! It was great to watch them spend quality time with one another! Each one is such a blessing to the family and I love watching them interact!
The kiddos spent some time in the sprinkler, cooling off on a hot July day!
Toga Patrick cooled off in the shade! |
Uncle Bob helped out a bit, guiding the sprinkler towards the feet and not the faces! |
Dog bowls are always so appealing! |
Look out, Zachary! |
Look out, Twins! |
Some action from the afternoon...
Uncle Mike showed Isaac, the beanbag thief, where he should put the bags instead of running off with them!
Aw, poor Elliott...I don't even remember why he was upset, but what a face!
After sprinkler time, it was bath time for all the cousins. At first, one bath with all the cousins was considered, but it was a house divided among bathing styles...
Busy, smiley bathers! |
Calm, serious bathers! |
Isaac and Elliott learned wrestling strategies from their older cousins! Surprisingly, they hung right in there and wrestled nonstop!
Five little boys, jumping on the bed...
Fun with the aunts and uncles!
Before returning to Lexington, we attempted a cousin picture. Elliott was worn out, so Daddy had to participate in the photo in order for him to stay still and content.
Gather 'round Uncle Bob! |
What a great day!
We wish we could all be together more often, but we are so thankful for the time we shared!
